How Agency Engine uses the Google Ads API
Agency Engine is a software-as-a-service customer relationship management (CRM) platform built for licensed insurance producers and agencies in the United States. Our customers use Agency Engine to capture leads from their advertising campaigns, contact and qualify those leads, schedule appointments, and track which advertising sources produce closed insurance policies.
Agency Engine uses the Google Ads API for one specific purpose: offline conversion upload. When a lead captured from a Google Ads campaign progresses through our customer's sales pipeline (for example, a quote is delivered or a policy is issued), Agency Engine sends a conversion event back to the customer's own Google Ads account so their advertising optimization can improve over time.
Specifically, we:
The integration is available only to authenticated Agency Engine customers who hold an active subscription and who connect their own Google Ads account via OAuth. Agency Engine does not resell, redistribute, or otherwise expose Google Ads API access to unauthenticated visitors, free-tier users, or third parties.
Agency Engine's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising to that user, do not sell Google user data, and do not allow humans to read Google user data except as required for security, legal compliance, or with the customer's explicit consent.
Full details on how we collect, store, and protect customer data are available in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
